It explores topics like ethnic Koreans abroad and South Korea's global interactions, with emphasis on social differences. Students develop intercultural competence through academic study and community engagement, analyzing the intersections of language, culture, and social institutions to deepen their understanding of cultural diversity. The course also expands advanced Sino-Korean vocabulary, preparing students to engage with diverse authentic texts.
