The Way And The Words: Religion And Poetry In Medieval China, A Conference In Honor Of Professor Stephen Bokenkamp

Fri, Oct 6, 2017 (All day) to Sat, Oct 7, 2017 (All day).  “The Way and the Words” is a conference held to honor Professor Stephen Bokenkamp, distinguished scholar of medieval Chinese Daoism and literature, and Regent’s Professor at Arizona State University.  The conference will be October 6 – 7, 2017, at Princeton University.

The conference is organized by Professors Anna Shields, Princeton University ([email protected]), and Gil Raz, Dartmouth College ([email protected]). The two-day program features presentations from international scholars of Chinese religion and literature. Attendance is free but registration is required on the registration page.  The conference will be held at the Julis Romo Rabinowitz Building, Room 399.
