Bernard Shee is a Ph.D. student in modern Japanese literature whose current research interests include postwar media, activism, and intellectual history. He received his M.A. in Japanese from Stanford University and his B.A. in Japanese Studies from the National University of Singapore. Before coming to Princeton, he also spent one year at the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies in Yokohama.
