Bio/Description

Filippo Ugolini is a Ph.D. candidate in Chinese Literature. His research focuses on anecdotal historiography from the late Tang and the Five Dynasties. Prior to joining the Department of East Asian Studies at Princeton, he studied medieval philology in the United Kingdom.
His research interests also include the history and materiality of the book in China as well as the translation of Classical and Modern Chinese Literature into Italian.
