I was appointed as a Korean language lecturer in 2017. I received my B.A. in Korean linguistics and literature from Seoul National University, Korea, M.A. in Second Language Studies and Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Literature (Korean linguistics) from University of Hawai'i at Manoa. Prior to teaching in Princeton, I have taught Korean language courses of all levels at the Pennsylvania State University (2014-2017) and University of Hawai'i at Manoa (2011-2014). My research interests include Korean sociolinguistics, discourse analysis, intercultural communications and language teaching, multiculturalism, language and identity, and language and gender.
