Jeff Heller is the Data & Project Coordinator of the East Asian Studies Department (2014). He works closely with the department manager on special projects, including building a comprehensive database for the department. He joins Princeton as an Apple Certified FileMaker Pro 13 Professional.
Earning his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts (2000), he was most recently with Apple Inc. for many years, specializing in delivering personal and group training sessions to customers, businesses, management, and colleagues. His effective use of logical reasoning, discovery, and enthusiasm are the cornerstone of his teaching philosophy, optimizing his trainees' lives to be more productive and efficient. His exceptional skills as a trainer earned him multiple awards and various opportunities at Apple and in freelance projects. During that time he also established and lead the design department of Otakorp Inc., as Design Department Head, which produces the popular annual anime convention Otakon. Under his leadership, his team produced and published materials for more than 35,000 convention attendees annually.
Jeff is a New Jersey native and lives locally with his wife, who has been with Princeton University for many years.
