Jeff Heller is the Digital Project Specialist of the Department of East Asian Studies. He works closely with faculty and students on data-related projects, is the creator of the Humble Administrators Dashboard, and collaborates with the department manager on special projects.
Earning his B.F.A. in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts (2000), he was previously with Apple Inc. for many years, specializing in delivering personal and group training sessions to customers, businesses, management, and colleagues. His effective use of logical reasoning, discovery, and enthusiasm are the cornerstone of his teaching philosophy, optimizing his trainees' lives to be more productive and efficient. His exceptional skills as a trainer earned him multiple awards and various opportunities at Apple and in freelance projects. During that time he also established and lead the design department of Otakorp Inc., as Design Department Head, which produces the popular annual anime convention Otakon. Under his leadership, his team produced and published materials for more than 35,000 convention attendees annually.
Jeff is a New Jersey native and lives locally with his wife, who has been with Princeton University for many years.
