Bio/Description
Sal (they/them, ’24) was born in Daejeon, Korea, though they grew up mostly in Singapore/Beijing, China. They are interested in reading Korean contemporary literature through a gendered lens, and were drawn to the EAS department because of its interdisciplinary nature. Outside of class, Sal is a member of Ellipses Slam Poetry & can usually be spotted in the New South building on campus. They don’t really have any career goals; they’re just here to vibe.
